TEM Conference on tourism and
local development of the Alpine region



 

University of Aosta Valley - Courmayeur, June 26th-27th, 2017



 
The TEM conference represents the kick-off event of the EU ALCOTRA project and aims at gathering together scientists coming from different fields such as economics and marketing in order to discuss tourism related topics and their economic impact in mountain regions. Scholars interested in the event are invited to submit an abstract to tem@univda.it.

 - During the second day of conference, a technical visit to Skyway is scheduled and organized as follows:
 - 7/8 minutes by cable car from Pontal, Courmayeur (1300 mt) to Pavillon du Mont-Fréty(2173 mt)
 - Lunch at Pavillon (2173 mt)
 - Closing ceremony of the Conference
 - Technical visit: 7/8 minutes by cable car from Pavillon du Mont-Fréty (2173 mt) to Punta Helbronner (3466 mt) where it is possible to admire the surroundings from a 360° degrees terrace. It is recommended to have a jumper, sport shoes and depending on the weather even a wind-stopper. After the visit to Punta Helbronner, the same itinerary will be made backwards.
